At Zap Riders, we’re committed to providing you with high-quality electric bikes and peace of mind with every purchase. Below are the details of our warranty coverage.


πŸ”’ Limited Manufacturer Warranty

We offer a 12-month limited manufacturer warranty for the original retail purchaser only. This warranty includes the supply of free spare parts (covered under warranty) and online technical support within the warranty period.

Please note: Warranty service is limited to parts replacement only β€” it does not include labor, on-site repairs, or technician callouts.

Breakdown by Part Category

βœ… Covered Under Warranty

12 Months:
E-bike frame, stem, handlebar (metal), rear fork assembly

6 Months:
Motor (or up to 10,000 km), battery pack, display (computer), motor controller, battery charger

3 Months:
Headlight, taillight, throttle, brake lever, brake caliper, brake cable, kickstand, saddle

30 Days:
Tyres, inner tubes, handlebar grips, fenders, seat post, transmission gears


❌ Not Covered (Wear & Tear Items)

Shifter, bearings, brake pads, disc pads, chains, sprockets, spokes, freehub bodies, casings, bolts, tools, fasteners, and all rubber components.


🚫 Warranty Exclusions

The following situations are not covered under warranty:

Improper battery use

  • Using a non-approved charger

  • Leaving the battery uncharged for extended periods

  • Incorrectly connecting charging cables

  • Deep discharge due to neglect

Note: Deep discharge may permanently damage the battery.

Water damage

Our e-bikes are water-resistant, not waterproof.
Damage from riding in heavy rain, flooding, immersion, or snow is not covered.

Accidental or misuse damage

Includes:

  • Racing

  • Stunts

  • Overloading

  • Crashes

  • Modification of internal components

Neglect or lack of maintenance

Failure to follow the user manual or maintain components regularly.

Courier-related issues

Zap Riders is not liable for loss or damage during shipping.
Please contact your shipping carrier for compensation.
We are happy to assist you with claim documentation.


πŸ”„ Out-of-Warranty Support

Even if your e-bike is no longer under warranty β€” or the damage was caused by user-related factors β€” we can still supply replacement parts for up to 12 months after purchase.
Pricing varies and is available upon request.
